02Cookies and browser storage explained
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website and sent back to the server with every following request.
Browser storage (local storage and session storage) is also space on your device, with one important difference: the data stays in your browser and is not sent to the server automatically. It is only read by the website's own code when needed.
Session storage is cleared automatically as soon as you close the browser tab or window.
03What this website uses today
The website uses strictly necessary technical functionality and, only if you accept them, optional analytics and advertising tools. Specifically:
- Strictly necessary technical items: required to load pages, keep the site secure and make the contact form work.
- Campaign attribution values: if you arrive through a link carrying UTM parameters (or similar campaign identifiers), these are stored locally in your browser, together with the page an enquiry is sent from, so we know where an enquiry came from.
- Cookie choice: we store your accept or reject choice locally in your browser so we can respect it on later visits.
- Google Analytics 4 (optional, consent only): statistics on how the website is used (e.g. page views). Sets Google cookies such as _ga.
- HubSpot analytics (optional, consent only): visit measurement and linking site activity to enquiries in our CRM. Sets HubSpot cookies such as hubspotutk and __hstc.
- Meta Pixel (optional, consent only): loaded through the HubSpot Ads connection to measure and target advertising on Meta platforms. May set cookies such as _fbp.
On your first visit, and if you reject, Google Analytics 4, HubSpot and the Meta Pixel are not loaded. The exact lifetimes of third-party cookies are set by their providers and described in their own policies.
04Purpose and legal basis
- Strictly necessary technical functionality: essential to deliver the service you request and, under applicable law, does not require consent.
- Campaign attribution values: stored in your browser so an enquiry can be attributed correctly. If you submit the form, these values accompany your enquiry and are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how you found us and handling enquiries properly (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and for steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Analytics and advertising tools (Google Analytics 4, HubSpot analytics, Meta Pixel): used only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
05Duration
Campaign attribution values are kept in your browser's session storage and are removed automatically when you close the tab or window.
For strictly necessary technical items, the duration follows the function they serve and is limited to what is needed for the site to work correctly and securely.
If you submit the contact form, retention of your enquiry data is described in our Privacy Policy.
06How to manage or delete this data
On your first visit you are offered equal “Accept” and “Reject” buttons. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom left of every page. If you withdraw consent, further measurement stops, we delete the measurement cookies the website is able to delete, and we suggest refreshing the page so tools already loaded are removed. You can also control cookies in your browser:
- Your browser's privacy settings let you block or delete cookies and site data.
- Clearing browsing data also removes the site's browser storage entries.
- Using a private browsing window limits storage to that session.
Blocking strictly necessary items may affect how the website works, for example submitting the contact form.
07Third-party services
Only with your consent, Google Analytics 4 (Google), HubSpot analytics (HubSpot) and the Meta Pixel (Meta, via HubSpot Ads) are loaded. These providers also process the related data under their own policies.
We do rely on providers that are necessary to operate, such as our website hosting provider, our contact management system (CRM) and our email service, in order to process the enquiries you send us. These providers are described in our Privacy Policy.
If you follow a link to an external website (for example a booking platform or a social network), that site's own cookie policy applies.
08Future changes
If we add or change optional analytics or marketing technologies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where that is required, before activating them.
The version in force is published on this page together with its last updated date.
